Some fools got drunk and started a fight at Tropix on Liverpool Road, last Saturday night. Now Tropix has had their liquor license suspended. A spokesperson for the Alcohol and Gaming Commision claims that no effort was made by the bar to stop the fight.
According to the manager of the bar, they have security tapes of the incident (which she also witnessed) that clearly show security escorting the three participants out of the premises. Please consider writing a letter to the Alcohol and Gaming Commision (AGCO)and urge them to reverse this political decision. There is no reason except petty local politics why this very popular bar should have to close.
